tBTC DeFiWrappedBTCfi

tBTC is the tokenized bitcoin of the Threshold Network. Deposits are held by a randomly selected, rotating group of signers who must reach a threshold of signatures to move them, so no single custodian controls the reserve. Bitcoin has no issuer that could deploy an official ERC-20, so tBTC is a claim on that signer set rather than on BTC itself, and it is minted and redeemed 1:1.
