sBTC DeFi

sBTC is Synthetix's bitcoin synthetic: a token whose price tracks BTC through the protocol's oracle and debt pool, with no bitcoin held in custody behind it. It was collateralized by staked SNX rather than by BTC, so it is a derivative exposure and not a wrapped coin.
