Lido Staked Ether is the liquid staking token received for staking ETH through Lido. stETH represents staked ether plus accrued staking rewards, letting users keep exposure to Ethereum staking while retaining a token that can move across DeFi. It became an important piece of liquid-staking infrastructure on Ethereum.
