Vana is an EVM-compatible layer-1 network and open protocol for user-controlled data portability. Its native VANA token is used for network fees, validator staking, governance, and as a default payment and trading asset for data applications such as DataDAOs. The project focuses on making personal data programmable while preserving user control over permissions and access.
