sUSD is Synthetix's dollar synthetic, historically minted against staked SNX and used as the settlement currency of the protocol's derivatives markets. Synthetix has moved to newer collateral designs and the legacy Optimism deployment is marked retired on-chain, so this token now trades mostly as a legacy position.
