Shardeum is an EVM-based Layer 1 blockchain that uses dynamic state sharding to scale transaction capacity while aiming to keep gas fees low. The network is designed for smart contracts and decentralized applications with Ethereum-compatible tooling. SHM is the native token used within the Shardeum ecosystem.
