TQQQ is the ProShares UltraPro QQQ, a leveraged exchange-traded fund sponsored by ProShares that seeks daily investment results equal to three times (3x) the daily performance of the Nasdaq-100 Index. Each share represents an interest in the fund's derivatives-based portfolio, and because leverage resets daily, returns compound and can diverge significantly from 3x the index's performance over periods longer than one day.
