eCash is a Bitcoin-derived payment network that evolved from Bitcoin Cash ABC and uses the XEC unit denomination. The project focuses on low-cost peer-to-peer electronic cash, staking through Avalanche post-consensus, and support for token issuance. XEC is the native asset used for payments, fees, and network incentives.
