Cosmos Hub
ATOM
Cosmos Hub is a central chain in the Cosmos ecosystem, which connects sovereign blockchains through the IBC interoperability protocol. ATOM is used for staking, governance, and the security and coordination of the Hub itself. The project helped popularize the modular vision of many app-specific chains linked through standardized cross-chain communication.
